Poetry

A small collection of poems, written quietly and shared even more quietly.

I

Unspoken Care

If only you knew the depths of my care,

Your sadness, a storm I can hardly bear.

You chose without me, now return in despair,

Broken, shattered, needing repair.

Forgive me for loving, for feeling this pain,

For what she took, I can't regain.

I wish I could mend the fragments of you,

Be there in whispers, in all that you do.

II

A Portrait Of You

My muse, my poem, though the lens is cracked,

I strive to capture you, a skill I've lacked.

Your essence, your truth, in words I'll try,

To paint a portrait that will never die.

You're pretty, but the kind of beautiful that handsome wishes it could be,

You're attractive, but the kind of charming that makes the heart skip a beat,

secrets it can't keep.

A blend of grace and strength, a rare design,

A masterpiece of heart and soul, truly divine.

A captivating presence, a magnetic pull,

You fill my world, making it wonderfully full.

Posters of you hang in my heart's domain,

Each glance a memory, erasing all pain.

A gallery of moments, etched in my mind,

A love so profound, one of a kind.

You're perfect, my dear, in every single way,

A radiant sun, brightening each day.

With every breath, my love for you grows,

A symphony of emotions, only my heart knows.

Love's Tempest

In a world spun with threads of the unknown,

The day arrived when love's seed was sown.

A storm of feelings, a tempest inside,

Eating and sleeping became a far ride.

Butterflies erupted, a montage of fear,

Whispering doubts that grew ever so near.

They said love was calm, a gentle embrace,

But mine was a whirlwind, a frantic chase.

Night after night, prayers ascended high,

"Is he the right one?" echoed in the sky.

I found solace in fear, a twisted delight,

For it meant you were mine, holding me tight.

Tears flowed like rivers, a cathartic release,

Confessions unspoken, a heavy unease.

But you were there, a beacon so true,

And when you weren't, my heart longed for you.

That day, as love's truth unfurled,

A braver version of me was hurled

Off the cliff of doubt, into the unknown,

A terrifying leap, yet I wasn't alone.

Curiosity whispered, a magnetic pull,

To gaze into your eyes, a heart so full.

From the moment I saw you, there in my view,

my heart knew then, my love, it's you.

IV

Shattered Vase

A vase of porcelain, once whole and bright,

Now shattered shards reflecting fractured light.

Each piece a memory, sharp and bittersweet,

A love once bloomed, now wilting at her feet.

The petals fall, like teardrops on the floor,

A symphony of sorrow, nothing more.

Her heart, a fragile bird with broken wings,

Caught in a storm of unspoken things.

The colors bleed, the roses' scent now dies,

Leaving a canvas painted with her cries.

She seeks to mend, to bind each fractured line,

But ghosts of beauty haunt this love-lost shrine.
